Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Chennai and Amritsar are participating. Travellers must generate e-passport-based digital credentials in the app. Their use at terminal entry, security areas and boarding depends on the infrastructure available.

Trials are scheduled for November and December, with passenger feedback informing a possible wider rollout in 2027, according to the Civil Aviation Ministry cited by Mint. The scheme supplements existing procedures: it does not remove travel document requirements, airline checks or immigration formalities.
