The statement describes 40 packages concealed in luggage and electronic tracking devices. The traveller was arrested; investigators are seeking the shipment's organisers and intended recipient, according to Customs.

Ghana's Narcotics Control Commission, NACOC, says it participated in a controlled delivery with Lebanese authorities and is seeking to identify accomplices in Ghana. It refers to approximately 40 kg of suspected substance; Customs' 46.7 kg is its stated gross weight. These figures retain their attribution and are not treated as identical measurements. The investigation is not a conviction.
