Wegovy tablets arrive in France without reimbursement at launch
Wegovy tablets are being marketed in France from 2 November 2026, according to health-sector reporting. This formulation of Novo Nordisk’s obesity medicine remains prescription-only and is not reimbursed at launch.
The recommended price starts at €169 for thirty tablets at 1.5 or 4 mg, rising to €205 at 9 mg and €235 at 25 mg. These are recommended prices: pharmacies may charge different amounts.
The launch adds an oral formulation to a medicine already offered by injection. It does not mean over-the-counter access or guaranteed stock in every pharmacy.
