On 2 November 2026, retailers report incidents in Belgium and Sweden. Carrefour Belgium says 15 stores are slightly affected without network closures. Responsibility for the attacks remains unknown.

Cyber incidents disrupt refrigeration at European supermarkets

Carrefour Belgium says 15 of its more than 700 stores are slightly affected, with no hypermarkets involved. The chain says all its stores remain open and products are still available.

Delhaize also reported an IT incident affecting refrigeration systems. Impacts therefore vary between retailers; no consolidated loss total is established here. Responsibility for the attacks and any technical link between the incidents are not demonstrated by the reviewed sources.
