Organisers announce 47 speakers across ten sessions at the Nile Ritz-Carlton. The programme includes competitiveness, supply chains, low-emission steel technologies and sustainable financing.

In opening remarks reported by Al-Shorouk, the prime minister referred to about 700 participants representing more than 330 companies and institutions from over 40 countries. Those figures are attributed to his speech. The summit’s opening does not by itself establish new investment agreements or the commissioning of new production capacity.
