Case C-250/25 concerns Hungarian portal operator Like Company’s dispute with Google over Gemini. The advocate general distinguishes reported facts, which are not protected in themselves, from their original expression.

He proposes declaring the model-training questions inadmissible because there is no evidence that the articles at issue were used for that purpose. The Court has yet to rule: the opinion therefore does not establish a finding against Google.
