Google brings Dreambeans to India with AI stories drawn from personal accounts
Google announced Dreambeans' arrival in India on 3 November 2026. Its experimental app generates personalised illustrated stories and is available to adults on Android and iOS in fourteen languages.
Users choose which Google services to connect, including Gmail, Photos, Calendar, Gemini, Search and YouTube. The app uses this information to compose a daily collection without requiring a fresh prompt each time.
According to Google's explanations to Mint, users can disconnect services and export data. The service is limited to personal accounts, and stories are visible only to the account holder. These are Google's described controls; the consulted sources provide no independent audit of data protection.
Only one story language can be selected at a time: stories mixing languages are not yet supported, Google told Mint.
