Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reaffirmed on 4 November 2026, after meeting Joseph Aoun in Baabda, that war and peace are decisions for the state. He condemned Lebanese groups’ interference in Arab countries, referring to Yemen.

Salam did not name a group in that statement or present evidence supporting the allegations he referenced, Libnanews reported.

In a separate statement, Hezbollah denied having party experts in Yemen participating in military operations, weapons development or Houthi training. The denial and political condemnation do not resolve whether the alleged activities occurred.
