Casablanca: Devoxx Morocco opens discussions on AI and developers’ work

The thirteenth Devoxx Morocco opened in Casablanca on 4 November 2026, MAP reports. The official programme schedules two days of conferences on 4–5 November.

Discussions cover artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and software engineering. The programme combines talks, demonstrations and practical workshops.

Speaking to MAP, co-founder Badr El Houari emphasised agentic AI and changes in developers’ work. He argues that these tools increase human responsibilities for architecture, security and performance. This is his assessment of the profession’s direction, rather than a measured employment outcome.
