Underwater cameras identified the vessel on the seabed, the ministry said. Specialist divers were deployed to the site.

The boat disappeared on 23 October. Air and sea searches are coordinated from Bouznika. An investigation is to establish the sinking’s circumstances. Finding the wreck does not by itself establish the fate of the fishermen.
