Airbnb targets first-half 2027 rollout for its AI travel agent
Airbnb plans to begin rolling out its AI travel agent in the first half of 2027, Brian Chesky said during its 5 November 2026 results presentation. This is an announced timetable, not public access on that date.
According to the CEO, the interface will compose maps, photos, comparisons, calendars and itineraries to match a request. The aim is to help plan a trip with visual elements rather than a purely textual answer.
Chesky eventually envisages integrated bookings across more travel categories. PhocusWire notes that no timetable was given for that transition: some services still send users to partners. Those planned functions should therefore not be confused with features guaranteed at launch.
