Perplexity launches Teammates for ongoing assignments
Perplexity announced Teammates on 5 November 2026, agents intended to follow ongoing assignments inside Computer. Its 6 November changelog lists access for Max subscribers on the web.
According to the company, agents reuse Computer’s projects, tools, files and memory. They can coordinate tasks, monitor changes and communicate in Slack. Users can inspect results and redirect the work.
Each agent has a separate environment and follows existing tool and project permissions, Perplexity says. The announcement establishes web availability; native apps are planned for later. Marketing, support and sales examples do not independently measure autonomy or error rates.
