The Houthi military spokesperson says three airstrikes hit the market. Taiz authorities maintain that no air operation took place in the district that day. Al Jazeera reports their call to preserve physical evidence for an independent technical examination.

AP says it could not independently verify either side’s accusations. The casualty count remains attributed to Houthi health officials, while local authorities acknowledge casualties without providing a detailed toll. The weapon, its origin and responsibility have not been established.
