According to the federation, flight permits and logistical arrangements had been secured, and the match commissioner and referees had arrived in Riyadh. This is the federation’s account of preparations.

The postponement had been announced the previous day. The National reports that Al-Wasl did not travel, amid transport disruption. No replacement date is established in the material consulted. The Saudi statement does not itself constitute a disciplinary ruling against the UAE club.
