Anthropic reports $17 billion quarterly revenue and $895.4 billion in commitments

Anthropic updated its IPO prospectus on 2 November 2026. The Claude developer reports nearly $17 billion in third-quarter revenue and a $567 million operating loss.

Net loss reached $23.3 billion, mainly due to financial-instrument revaluations. It therefore does not represent an equivalent cash outflow or only the loss from ongoing operations.

Purchase and lease commitments total $895.4 billion, almost all for computing and infrastructure. About $69.8 billion falls due in the twelve months after 30 September 2026, and $447.5 billion is expected before the end of 2030; part of the remainder extends to 2045. The document says $213.8 billion involves termination rights or prior conditions.

These multiyear commitments are not spending already incurred. The prospectus still leaves the sale price and number of shares unset.
