Le Soleil describes a match in which Senegal led 3-0 before Panama fought back. Mamadou Diagne scored the decisive late goal, the newspaper reports.
The result revives the hosts’ campaign after their opening defeat against Argentina. Afghanistan remain their next group opponents. The win against Panama does not, by itself, establish qualification for the semi-finals.
