CrowdStrike plans Dreadnode acquisition to test AI agent security

Published

CrowdStrike announced a definitive agreement to acquire automated AI security testing specialist Dreadnode in Barcelona on 3 November 2026. This complements its planned Fiddler AI acquisition for monitoring agent behaviour.

CrowdStrike says Dreadnode tests models, applications and agents before production, including against prompt injection and attempts to bypass safeguards. Findings are intended to feed Falcon Guardian security recommendations.

The company expects closing and general availability of the features in the fourth quarter of its fiscal 2027, subject to customary conditions. It has not disclosed the price. Testing capabilities and integration timing are the vendor’s announcements; effectiveness after integration has not yet been established.
