Road transport: Kayouh puts new aid package at about 400 million dirhams

Published

Abdessamad Kayouh said on 4 November 2026 that the new exceptional road transport aid package would amount to about 400 million dirhams for 1–15 November, according to his statements to Hespress.

The minister specified 5,600 dirhams for intercity coaches, 4,960 for urban buses and 4,800 for road tractors. Small taxis are to receive 1,280 dirhams and large taxis 1,760 dirhams, according to the account of his remarks.

Applications are due to open on 10 November. These details supplement the earlier announcement of a fifteen-day tranche; they do not establish that payments have already been made. Kayouh linked the schedule to diesel price revisions twice a month.
