Google extends Omni videos to 15 seconds and cuts pricing by 30%

Published

Google announced the rollout of Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on 5 November 2026. The video model’s maximum clip length rises from 10 to 15 seconds, with announced pricing down 30% to $0.07 per second in 720p.

Clips can last 3–15 seconds and be edited through successive requests. Access includes the Gemini API and Google Cloud; in the Gemini app, Google limits it to AI Ultra subscribers.

The company promises improved visual consistency and lip-sync. The Decoder reports these promises without presenting an independent test, so they are not a guarantee of results. Google says videos carry an invisible SynthID watermark to identify their origin.
