DRC begins third WTO trade policy review

The DRC's third trade policy review opened at the WTO in Geneva on 28 October 2026. A second meeting is scheduled for 30 October.

The exercise uses two distinct documents: a WTO Secretariat report and a policy statement from the Congolese government. Members can question Kinshasa about its trade policies and practices.

Julien Paluku presented reforms highlighted by the government, according to Ouragan. The chair's conclusions are expected at the second meeting.
