France presents free support ahead of November’s smoke-free challenge

Santé publique France presented support measures for its smoke-free month campaign on 30 October 2026. The initiative invites smokers to attempt thirty days without cigarettes from 1 November, with free registration and support tools.

The scheme brings together Santé publique France, the health ministry and Assurance Maladie. It includes a dedicated website, the Tabac info service app, cessation kits and telephone support on 39 89.

Info Jeunes Bourgogne-Franche-Comté also lists these tools and points to regional support through the Tab’agir network. The 30 October announcement concerns the assistance available; it does not yet provide results on successful quitting during the 2026 campaign.
