Grand Egyptian Museum launches immersive Eternal Sun show

The Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza is launching Eternal Sun from 1 November 2026, according to its official website and an Egyptian Gazette report published that day. The 35-minute experience uses the Grand Hall's surfaces to combine projections, music and narration.

The programme explores the history and continuity of Egyptian civilisation through natural cycles, including the sun and the Nile. The official presentation describes bilingual storytelling; the report specifies Arabic and English.

Creative director Amr Abdel Nasser told the Egyptian Gazette that the team wanted to focus on people's questions and their relationship with nature. The launch is part of the museum's cultural programming; the sources consulted do not yet provide attendance figures for the show.
