The vote ends the Assembly’s first-reading examination without discussion of the spending section. According to LCP and AFP, the government’s initial version, rather than the text amended by MPs, is to be examined in the Senate from 20 November.

The parliamentary rejection does not adopt an alternative budget. Further proceedings and efforts to reach a compromise remain necessary. The vote’s result is established; the finance bill’s final outcome remains open.
